What is the Hush Panel 17mm?
Looking for a lightweight, low-profile high impact acoustic performance? Hush Panel 17 is the perfect product for this. Just 17mm and only 5kg this floor is designed as an overlay product to go over existing floorboards or new structural subfloors to add a low-profile impact layer with a solid T&G jointed MDF finish to receive your desired floor finish: Engineered wood, laminate and timber.
Hush Panel 17 is a floating floor that require NO mechanical fixing just glue the T&G joints using Hush Bond Adhesive, Hush Seal 20 perimeter strip around the perimeter of your room to isolate the MDF from your wall. Hush Panel 17 can achieve and exceed Part E of the Building Regulations when coupled with the correct insulation and acoustic ceiling, usually an independent metal or timber frame ceiling with acoustic and fire rated plaster board fitted to the underside.
